August 23rd marked the beginning of the most anticipated INKE project at Korogocho bible clubs. Bible club is a faith-rooted initiative designed to nurture children’s spiritual growth, creativity, and friendships through play-based learning.
We welcomed 51 children aged between 3-13years, and 3 volunteer teachers. We also had 2 children, accompanying their older siblings aged 1 and 2years respectively.

Activities;
- Registration of children
- Dividing the children into groups depending on their ages. We came up with 3 groups:
Group 1- 3-4years
Group 2- 5-8years
Group 3- 9-13years
- Created children portfolios for all their bible clubs art work which will be a space to collect and celebrate their artwork, reflections, and spiritual journey.
- Provided nourishment which included healthy porridge at 10am and a nutritious meal at lunch hour to the children
- The children had a lot of fun playing, joyful interactions and making new friends.

The launch was more than just a launch, it was a celebration of hope, unity, and the power of faith-based education. Parents, teachers, and children alike left with hearts full and spirits lifted. We’re excited to continue this journey, growing a space where every child in this project at Korogocho feels seen, loved, and inspired to thrive.
